Privacy

Gawk Marketing LLC operates Plainscan at plainscan.app. This page says what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We do not sell scan data. Plainscan is not a WCAG or ADA certificate and not legal advice.

What we collect

  • The public URL you ask us to scan.
  • Optional email, if you give one. We use it to (1) send that report and (2) email about Plainscan (product updates and follow-ups). We do not sell the list. Unsubscribe anytime.
  • Account email and a hashed password if you create a login to save sites.
  • Payment identifiers from Stripe when a human pays $14 once for that scan, or when an agent pays per scan in USDC through POST /api/x402/scan.
  • Scan results we generate (issue counts, findings, and, if unlocked, the fix list).

Why

We use that information to run the scan, show or email the report, email about Plainscan (product updates and follow-ups) if you left an address, take payment, and keep a payment record. We do not sell the list. We do not use it to train a public model on your site, and we do not sell scan data.

How long we keep it

We keep scan and account records as long as they are needed to provide the report and to keep payment records. If you want a scan or account removed, contact Gawk Marketing LLC through this site.

Cookies

Essential cookies only for login, scans, and Stripe. If you log in, we set an http-only session cookie so the app can keep you signed in. Stripe Checkout may set cookies to complete a $14 payment. There is no cookie banner for those. We do not use advertising cookies.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-TBL0HN0V8K) loads only after you click Accept analytics. Reject never loads gtag and sends zero hits. We store that choice in your browser. Login, scans, and Stripe work without analytics and do not show a banner on their own. We do not add extra pixels.

Payments

Human unlocks are $14 once per scan, paid through Stripe. They are not a subscription and not unlimited future scans. Agent scans use x402: unpaid calls return HTTP 402; after USDC payment the JSON is still a teaser (counts and samples), not the $14 copy-paste fix list. Stripe processes the payment. We store the identifiers we need to match the scan to the payment.
